The Bully Basset is a hybrid breed. His parents are a English Bulldog mix and a Basset Hound. They are a sweet, affectionate dog that makes a great companion dog. They is fairly active, but they will be happy in any type of home whether it be an apartment or a home with a yard.
Temperament
The Bully Basset is a friendly, happy, social, affectionate, outgoing dog; however, he can be stubborn as well. Training is somewhat difficult because of this personality trait in the Bully Basset, and he is not recommended as a good dog for novice owners. Owners should be patient, positive, and consistent.
